Here at the Park Beach Resort Motel, we proudly take actions to help reduce our ecological footprint.
Some of these actions include:
- Solar Power.
- Our pool is solar heated in summer allowing a comfortable swimming temperature.
- We have installed Inverter Split System Air Conditioners.
- We use eco-friendly soaps and shampoo's.
- Most of our Appliances are energy rated as well as tested and tagged.
- Purchasing regional/local produce when we can.
- Donate and recycle our old un-needed mattress's and furniture.
- We offer 2 Tesla Car charging stations on site for our guests use.
- We have Solar heated hot water.
- We seperate our rubbish into recyclables.
- Our light globes are all LED.
- Our Coffee is Fair Trade Certified.
- We grow a small amount of our produce on site.
